It’s Anything But Elementary Moodboard

Amy_Moodboard

I’m so excited to share the beginnings of another new project! My dear friend is an elementary school teacher in Seattle and has been developing a teacher blog over the last year. Together, we are giving her blog a facelift. She’s chosen pastel colors with beautiful gold accents.

A Hand Painted Gift

IMG_4994

Aren’t handmade gifts the best kind? Who doesn’t love a gift that’s filled with time, thought, creative expression and personality? This year, I decided to make hand painted coasters for a few of my close friends who recently moved into new apartments. It was so fun to create something with my hands and I’m more excited to give these gifts than any that I bought at the store.

These simple coasters were made with flat cork, acrylic paint, and washi tape.

Design Spotlight | IDIYforthis

IDIYbrandboard

In my journey moonlighting as a designer, I’ve been working with The Brand Gals, assisting in designing beautiful brands and websites for female entreprenuers. It has been such an honor being apart of the design process and today, I wanted to highlight one of our amazing clients, IDIYforthis. The concept of her brand was inspired by luxury and minimalism with a chic editorial feel.
